I received my holster a few weeks ago and I am 100% satisfied. The material is sturdy and durable, the spring that holds the Pre in place is tight, and the phone perfectly fits in the holster with no danger of falling out. Plus, the speaker is exposed so the ringer and even the text alert can be heard.

I have no idea what some of these people are talking about when they say the phone is not durable. My guess would be that they purchased the clip at a discount from one of the random sellers and received a knock off version. I bought mine from Amazon and I would recommend doing the same for this type of product. -- This is a Perfect Holster

This works great for me, it has felt inside to protect the screen. It leaves access to the audio jack. I was worried at first about the spring latch part rubbing against the screen when it is put away, but I don't notice any scuffs after 2 weeks of use. I can use one hand to put the phone in the holster, but removing it requires either 2 hands, or one hand if you can lift the spring with one finger and use the others to 'catch' the phone as it comes out. After having purchased Seidio Holsters for my previous Palm Treo phones, I thought that buying one for my Palm Pre would be a no-brainer.

However, after just a few weeks of light very moderate use, the spring clip just broke off!!!! I was just removing the phone from the clip as I normally do. Couldn't believe it!

Not sure if I just got a bad holster or this represents some design flaw! Not sure if I'll purchase another one or just try the MUCH CHEAPER Box Wave clip holster or perhaps the Verizon version.

This clip is the absolute worse holster that I've ever had! Don't think I'll ever buy another ... can't recommend that anyone else should either! :( -- Seidio Spring Clip Holster ... A Bust

I've had the Seido Holster for several weeks and now I can state my full experience with it.

Pros: Nice soft touch rubber coating. Feels high quality. Spring clip is sturdy for both the clip onto your belt and also the top clip to keep the phone in place. My phone feels snug in the holster and won't fall out. Another plus is that the touchscreen is facing down in the holster so that you can charge the phone with the touchstone without taking it out. I've tried it and it makes good contact with the touchstone charger.

Cons: The clip on top with the audio port access only allows headsets with slim plugs (e.g. i used left over headsets from an ipod). My regular Sony earbud headsets could not plug in through the top clip (max clearance is <1/4" in diameter). Also you have to use two hands to put the phone in place in the holster. Sometimes I've noticed that it causes the Pre's screen to slide a little bit as I am securing it down.

Overall, a decent holster that serves its purpose (for slim-plug headsets) and looks like it'll last for the life of the phone. -- Functional and Simple to Use
