Just received this the Seidio Innocase "armoured" cell phone case. Wow...what a let down:-(

First, I must be very positive about one thing, it will certainly protect your Droid. But the question is how long will it take you to get through the layers of protection to use the phone? First you must maneuver the outside plastic holster to let the phone out of the first level of protection; then you might want to take off the inside plastic quasi-holster that covers the back of the Droid; then, finally, you get to the inside-the-inside-super-rubberized-all-over-the-Droid cover that actually flaps over the camera.

BUT WAIT....then you realize that the phone is so covered that the keyboard is immoveable!!! ....Yes, trapped in the rubber fortress!!

So, for those of us who purchased the Motorola Droid for the flexibility of using the Keyboard, THIS IS NOT THE CASE TO BUY.

However, if you never need the keyboard and are a touch-screen fanatic with no need to answer your phone or look ar your emails/messages etc as soon as you hear the notifications or if you don't need to take a lot of pictures without grappling with added layers of protection, you may like this phone.

Bottom line, your phone will be protected but is it worth it? Not for me. (Plus, on a vanity note, it's quite an unattractive phone). I'll probably get the Seidio Surface case cover in a pretty color instead. Seidio Innocase Surface Case for Motorola DROID (Purple)

At first I thought this combo was pricey, but after receiving I can truly say it is well worth the cost to protect my Moto Droid.

Actually the first case that you install is the same as the Seidio Innocase. The second, rubberized cover which slides over the first case. You then have a hard shell that slides over the second rubberized cover.

After that the phone is now snapped into the holster which you can lock so you don't accidentially release the phone from the holster. The clip on the holster allows you to swivel to different positions, probably why you can lock the release.

Rugged is a little misleading. It is more like the Fort Knox for cell phones. No one else has anything to compare to the Seidio Innocase Rugged case. -- Seidio Innocase Rugged Case & Holster Combo for Doid
