I shopped for several hours trying to find the perfect case for my Motorola Droid. I wanted to protect my beautiful and fantastic phone from falls and general use. This case is far better than any of the other cases I looked at. The case is black and made of a rubberized plastic that doesn't seem to show nicks or scratches. The case fits perfectly on the Droid and does not catch on the slide out keyboard. The case fits so perfectly that it is actually pretty darn hard to get the case off if you need to clean it or access the battery on your phone. The case fits perfectly around the camera lens and external speaker; giving you full access to both all of the time. The case also fits perfectly in to the belt carrier. The phone is very secure and does not move around. The belt carrier is also made of a high grade plastic, and it is lined with a felt-type fabric that faces the screen of your phone; to keep the screen from getting scratched or damaged. The belt carrier also has a very handy swivel that will allow you to carry the phone in any position you wish. The clip that holds the phone in the belt carrier is also made of a high grade plastic and has a very tight spring to hold the phone in place.

My only complaint about this case is the price. I paid $30 on Amazon for a phone case. I must be insane. There is another cheaper option to consider if $30 is out of your price range. Consider the OEM phone case from Motorola. It is much cheaper, about $5 - $10, and is also made of a rubberized plastic. It actually seems more protective than this SEIDIO case, but I could not find a suitable belt carrier for it. Happy shopping and good luck. -- indianaj222

The case for the phone is very nice and well made, but the belt clip is cheaply made and broke in less than two weeks. -- Clip not well made

This case/holster combo is simply awesome, it protects your Droid and allows you quick and easy access to get it onto and off of your belt, but still holds the phone securely! You can adjust it to various angles on your belt for comfort. The exterior of the case is black, there's no fancy pattern or wild colors, but it has a great feel and does not collect lint like so many "soft-touch" cases do! Plus, it has a full cutout for the Droid's speaker, which not all cases do. My dad has the Verizon "heavy duty" case on his Droid, and the cutout for the speaker is 1/3 the size of the speaker grill on the phone. I would never tell my father, but this Seidio case is just far and away superior to anything else available for the Droid--maybe not as flashy since it's black--but it works FLAWLESSLY!! -- This is the BEST droid case--bar none!

You can tell this company doesn't mess around with its cell phone accessories. The case feels like silk in your hand and fits the phone perfectly in every way.

I gave the combo only 4 stars simply because of the holster. The phone retainer clip is excessively large (yes, it holds the phone VERY well) and as a result it is a bit too close to the headphone jack (I'll just fix that with my Dremel). The belt clip rotation is also a bit loose feeling but it does work just fine.

My previous shell and holster was the OEM Motorola Droid Shell Holster Combo Pack and I like it just as well as this Seidio case. I only replaced it because I dropped my phone and it broke the face piece shell on the case (and saved my phone!)

If I had to choose between the two I would go with the OEM Motorola Droid Shell Holster Combo Pack again and I may do so in the future. -- Like silk in your hand!

Tried several cases before this one. Verizon case is nice but does not compare to the security and convience of this case. Other cases that appear similar require more effort to remove and replace the phone. The Seiio case is secure and easy to use. Easy removal and replacement of the phone. The large clip works extreamly well when clipping or unclipping to a belt or waistband. The case is slip resistant and easily wipes clean with a tissue. Well worth the extra bucks. -- Outstanding
