I actually like this case a lot, but there was one thing I couldn't get past with this case... it's really sticky! I had a hard time slipping the Tour in and out of my pocket and when I'd take it out of my pocket, it'd be all dusty from the lint. Also, if you put your phone down where there might be some dust or crumbs or whatever, it pretty much sticks to this case. After a week of use, it wasn't black anymore, but a grayish color from all the dust it picked up!
otherwise, this case protects my tour very well, and I even used it with my Bold for a while until I got the otterbox commuter for it. but I just couldn't get past the stickiness of the case, so I got a commuter instead, but it still has the sticky silicon, but it's also covered by a hard plastic, so I think that will work better for me.
this case also came with a screen protector so that was a nice bonus. -- sticky!
I reviewed this case when I bought it and said that it fit well and I liked it. It turns out, that was an understatement. Yesterday I left my blackberry on top of the car and drove to the grocery store. It finally flew off the back as I drove down the road at 50 mph. I saw it bounce in the rearview mirror and just knew it was finished. I looped back around to get it, hoping at least to save the SIM card. When I found it lying in the road, it was totally unscratched and hadn't even turned off. I love this case, it's the best investment I've ever made! -- Best Case I've ever had!
Contrary to some of the comments here, I found that my BB does still fit in the original belt holster it comes with after I installed the OtterBox case. My wife has a solid plastic clear case around her's and it's much more bulky than this case. If I carried my phone in my pocket, I might have upgraded to one of the other OtterBox cases, but I wanted to still have the belt holster. The holster stretches to accommodate the larger size. It is a little bit more difficult to get the phone in and out, but that will improve as the case stretches out. Overall the best case you can buy for the BB IMHO. -- Great protection that combines with original belt holster
Very nice case. The only thing that I would say is a negative is that the surface of the phone can get pretty scratched up if any dust or debris gets into the case. It ends up sticking to the inside rubber of the case, and acts as sand paper as it gets rubbed back and forth. I rarely take my phone out of the case, so it's not much of an issues for me, but just a head's up.
Other than that, it's super sharp looking, and all the buttons still function beautifully even when covered by the rubber. It's nice and thick on the corners, and has saved my phone from at least a couple of drops. -- Nice Case
This impact case is slim, light weight, close fitting but easy to install or remove. Provides good gripping surface and protects device from everyday damage from drops and impacts. Cheap protection for expensive phones in most instances. If dropped overboard however, it will not float the phone. -- They do not float
