Besides its intended use, this pouch is an easy but secure fit for a Motorola Droid. It seems nicer to use than anything that's specifically marketed for that phone. -- Also a good fit for newer Motorola Droid phone

First of all, I used this for the Samsung Gravity, which is basically the same size as the G1. The pouch fits great, and adds some nice cushion for the phone, along with a very soft inside. I don't know how much protection there is on the sides of the phone, but overall, I'm very satisfied with this product. The phone isn't tight in there at all, and it can't slip out either. It also shipped quickly. -- Great for the Samsung Gravity

I had misplaced my pouch that I originally bought with my G1. T-Mobile was charging considerably more for the same product. -- Great product - just like the original from the manufacturer!
