User Reviews

Fit's like a custom suit, vs one off the rack. Quality construction is evident, and allows complete use of all features while keeping the phone secure and protected. -- Great custom fit case
Love it. Very versatile and is a good fit. All the features on the phone are accessible. -- Perfect
The case is very good, allows access to all buttons and slots in the cell. Fits execelente Mobile. -- very very good
This case fits exactly for my Nokia 5800 XM. It consist of two parts: front cover and pouch. They are connected by plastic slider, so you can easily remove front cover. All designated holes fit for device access areas: microphone, speaker etc.. The phone sit tight in the pouch, so it won't slip out if you dis-attach front cover. Front cover locks with magnetic clip and opens down what provides easy access to speaker and mike. There is a window for back camera. I wish it would have a "hatch" to protect back camera. But it's ok for me 'cause I made it myself with no straggles. Belt clip can be attached with button with can be same easily attached and dis attached to case. So if you like to keep it in your pocket you'll have no bumps on your case. Case provides heavy protection from front and back which is not really necessarily 'cause it adds some thickness to all together. Good for keeping in purse or on your belt. If you have big pockets it will do too. As for me, I like this case very much and would recommend it. -- Very good case.
This Krussel 75415 case is perfect for the Nokia 5800 Navigation I recently purchased through Amazon. After studying a number of different protection solutions for my new Nokia, I chose to go with this one over all other designs, and I wasn't disappointed in any way - despite I am very set in what will or won't suit my needs. This case makes the use my Nokia 5800 simple and easy while offering great protection.

I wanted a hard case type with a slim design that would not only protect well, but one that would also not add excessively to the thickness of my Nokia 5800. The case without the belt clip, with the Nokia in it, adds only 3/8ths of an inch to the bulk of the phone. The Krussel 75415 filled this requirement completely, making it easy to slide in and out of my pants pocket or a coat while also well protecting my phone. I don't like to wear my phones on my belt, but I'll add the swivel belt clip system is sturdy, and will work well with belts up to 1 3/4 inches in width and those of thick design. This means I can easily use the included belt clip system with my Carhart work clothes and belts for work around my home - if wanted. The case "button" is also easily removed from the case by using a pointed object to press the included well-protected release. Notable, also, is the portion of the clip system permanently attached to the case - which has a provided opening suitable for attaching a wrist strap or other type of lanyard for increased security. The belt clip itself is a smooth quick release type using its small spring loaded press switch. When the switch is depressed, the case can be easily detatched by sliding it upward from the belt clip. The case "button" also works with my Motorola V3 OEM case belt clips, but they were always harder to use due to the Motorola design. Still, if someone broke their Krussel belt clip, they could always use one from Motorola if they had one handy (my V3s were always carried in my pocket, so mine were unused).

All of the other cases I found for the Nokia 5800 suffered one or more flaws such as, covering necessary areas or buttons on the phone, not offering protection without greatly added bulk, or awkward or detrimental opening/removal/closure systems. The Krussel 75415 suffers none of these flaws. The phone is a snug fit with all the button switches quickly and readily available. The small magnetic closure is also located in an area near the top rear of the phone and not over the SIM or micro SDHC memory cards, and it works securely while not affecting vital components. The power and headphone ports, camera, and speakers are also unobstructed while the case is closed. The interior also provides a soft surface that will not scratch the phone during insertion or removal. Additional features of the interior are pockets for an additional SIM and memory card in the front flap. There is also a pocket that could be used for a folded bill or two of currency.

When the case is opened, the stylus becomes easily available for use. A correct opening has been provided for the 5800's music touch screen feature which can be simply accessed using the stylus, but I also found I could access this feature by simply pressing that small lighted opening slightly harder with my finger. The rest of the touch screen is fully uncovered including the three buttons on the face of the 5800. The 5800's sensors, microphone ports, and earphone port are uncovered as well with the front flap open. The front flap is also detachable by using a nylon/hard plastic connector that slides apart, with a slight snap when slid back in place. The small flap removal device appears sturdy, but I see no use for using it unless someone just doesn't want it on for desk use. I won't use this feature, as the only time I will remove the case is when I use the windshield mount in my car for the navigation feature provided on my 5800.

If you've ever carried a brick like most PDA's, or like my previous HTC Tilt, the Nokia 5800 is a relief - and much smaller using this case than any Tilt user experiences. True, the 5800 and this case can't beat the small size of the slender V3 in its Motorola case, but the 5800 in the Krussel 75415 case is roughly only 1/8 of an inch greater in thickness (measurement done without belt clips). Count on it, this is a quality product, and apparently the best available for properly protecting and using the Nokia 5800, over anything but a much larger and/or bulkier case - one so bulky or awkward it may make using your 5800 difficult. As for weight, I can happily add this Krussel case adds almost nothing. My Krussel 75415 from SF Planet, through Amazon, fulfilled all my needs. The case comes well packaged with instructions and a lifetime warranty. It is an excellent product made with the precision needed for the Nokia 5800.

*Note* My Krussel Orbit with "Multidapt" has the flap opening and magnetic clasp at the top of the phone - opposite the Krussel logo emblem. -- Excellent Case for the Nokia 5800 Models
