This case is made very poorly. Just looking at it once it's on your phone, it looks like an inexpensive knock-off version of a better product. That being said, the case seems like it will do an adequate job at protecting you phone if actually dropped or banged. However, I've been using this item for approximately 3 weeks now and have NOT dropped or banged my phone on anything YET the black "rubberized material" is slowly peeling away, revealing white plastic blotches underneath. This "rubberized material" appears to actually be a rubberized coating. A VERY think coating at that. I have order an authentic HTC case of the same variety. Hopefully this will hold up better. -- It will keep your phone protected BUT.....

Made of cheap plastic but works until I get my otter box. I had the corner clip snap off just removing the cover to access the battery. I wasn't even rough with it either. I contacted Amazon and they sent me a new one right away with absolutely no delay. Thanks Amazon! -- Ok Cover to hold you over.

I like the texture of the case - smooth and rubberized (similar to the backplate of the EVO itself), easy to grip and not "slippery" or "slick" like shiny plastic. Fits well and looks good. Nice product for the price. Front edge "sticks out" enough so that the screen does not the table if you set it down (helps protect screen from scratches). The back also help prevent scratches to the camera. -- Good Value

Protects the phone from scratches and the camera lens from hitting the table when you put it down.

Also does a good job of protecting the phone when you drop it. Only problem is if you drop it the case separates exposing the phone but so far the phone still reminds inside one side after it hits the floor. -- HTC Evo Rubberized case
